100% recommend this place and would want to stay there again. Variety of food for breakfast, it was outstanding. The very nice staff provided me a really lovely 2 nights stay. Location: the hotel was really close to Bilbao, Casa Zalama and the stunning surrounding area. It also was in Graham's surrealist garden...
Entirely satisfied.

The warm hospitality provided by Mari Cruz and Graeme made our time here truly memorable. The charming country cottage, with its beautifully restored rooms, offered a comfortable stay for our large family. The homemade dinners were exceptional, with three-course offerings and an excellent selection of reasonably priced wines. The kids loved spending time in Graeme's garden and exploring Mari Cruz's textile workshop. The homemade breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious jams was the perfect start to our days. The value for money was exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better family-friendly experience.
For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

Plus, each room is equipped with a private bathroom, so you don't have to share with anyone.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the heating system in the rooms. But hey, some people might actually enjoy it, so it's just my own preference.

The spacious suite had a comfortable king size bed and a separate seating area where we could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Plus, the private bathroom with free toiletries was a nice touch.
Personally, I found the heating to be a bit too warm for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal preference and I'm sure others might enjoy the cozy warmth.
